MERKLEE. A girl born in Brooklyn, Kings, NY on 18 Oct 1878. Died in Brooklyn, Kings, NY on 18 Oct 1878. Buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. She was stillborn.

Anna A. MERKLEE. Born abt 1876 in PA. The 1910 U.S. Census lists Anna as divorced and having no children.

Casper MERKLEE. Listed in the Lutheran Church records at Amsterdam as a witness to the baptism of Anna MERKLEE on 23 November 1800.

Charles F. MERKLEE. Born 1867. Died 1925. He married Jessie J. DEGRAFF (1878-1932), daughter of James DEGRAFF and Katherine CUNNINGHAM.

Charles F. MERKLEE. Born on 5 Mar 1875. Died in Brooklyn, Kings, NY on 29 Oct 1877. Buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.

Ehethea MERKLEE. Born abt 1828. Listed in the Family Tree Maker CD 355 "Germans to America: 1850-1874." She was 23 years old when she arrived in New York from Havre aboard the George Hurlbut on 27 Mar 1851. Her country of origin is listed as Bavaria and her occupation as farmer.

Frederick MERKLEE. Recorded in the 1880 U.S. Census living in Philadelphia, PA. Born abt 1833 in PA. He married Sarah E., who was born abt 1835 in PA. They had a son, Jerome, born abt 1865 in PA.

Gertrude MERKLEE. She married Raymond Thomas WOLF, son of Simean "Sim" WOLF (1873-1950) and Sally Lovallie PARKER (1880-1979) of TX.

Gertrude D. MERKLEE. According to the LDS Church International Genealogical Index, she was born 19 Sep 1882 in Philadelphia, PA, to Walter and Sarah Merklee. This Sarah may be the same person mentioned below.

Harry MERKLEE. A bank teller, recorded in the 1880 U.S. Census living in Philadelphia, PA. Born abt 1844 in PA. He married Elizabeth STROUD, who was born abt 1846 in PA. They had a son, Harry, born abt 1879 in PA.

Helena C. MERKLEE. Listed in the 1880 Philadelphia city directory as a confectioner living at 1524 N. 22nd.

Johannes MERKLEE. Listed in the Lutheran Church records at Amsterdam as a witness to the baptism of Anna Catharina MERKLEE on 7 November 1802, and also as a witness to the baptism of Anna Margaretha Elizabeth MERKLEE on 2 September 1804.

John MERKLEE. A butcher, recorded in the 1880 U.S. Census living in Brooklyn, NY. Born abt 1855 in NY. He married Josephine, who was born abt 1858 in NY. They had a son, John, born abt 1879 in NY.

John MERKLEE. Born on 21 Jun 1861. Died on 11 Dec 1863. Buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.

Joseph H. MERKLEE. Listed in the 1889 Philadelphia city directory as a sashmaker working with Charles K. MERKLEE (ca 1827-1897) at a company called Merklee & Hoffman.

Lillian MERKLEE. Born on 26 Jan 1902. Died in May 1991.

Mamie MERKLEE. Mentioned in an article in the 19 April 1887 edition of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle as having attended a party with F. C. Merklee, Louise Kingsland, Annie Kingsland, F. Kingsland, J. E. Kingsland, S. W. Kingsland, H. Kitchen and W. Abrams.

Paul MERKLEE. Listed in the program for The 15th International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) held in Columbus, Ohio, on the campus of The Ohio State University, November 2-5, 1989. On Friday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m., he gave the presentation "Real-time Acoustic Analysis of Polyphonic Music" with W. F. McGee.

Sarah MERKLEE. Born abt 1860 in PA. The 1910 U.S. Census lists Sarah as a widow and as a cousin to the head of the household, Jacob T. Baral (sp?). Also in the house, and listed just before Sarah, is Jacob's widowed aunt, Margaret Dobbins, age 79. Margaret is listed as having had two children, one of whom was still alive at the time of the census. It seems quite probable that Margaret was Sarah's mother.

Walter H. MERKLEE. Born on 22 Feb 1882. Died in Brooklyn, Kings, NY on 28 May 1882. Buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.

William MERKLEE. Appears as a lodger of no fixed occupation in the 1920 U.S. Census for Mott Township, Siskiyou County, California. He is listed as single, with the birthplaces of his parents as unknown. He could possibly be the son of Hugh John Merklee.
